For this first project, we were asked to pick an existing website and reproduce it as faithfully as possible. This exercise helped us better understand how a website is structured and put our HTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge into practice. The next step was to replace the original content with the information from our own CV, personalising the site to highlight our skills and experience. This project was an excellent opportunity to practise front-end integration while building a personal portfolio.
To build this project, I started by analysing the chosen site in detail to understand its architecture and its different sections. I then reproduced the layout using HTML and CSS, taking care to stay true to the original design. Once the structure was in place, I replaced the content with the information from my own CV, adapting each section to highlight my skills, experience and achievements. This work helped me consolidate my web development knowledge while creating a personalised, professional portfolio.
