SEF

Goal
Build the showcase site of a non-profit supporting homeless people, for a real client.
My role
Design and custom WordPress theme, as part of a team.
In this project, the goal was to design the showcase website for SEF, a non-profit organisation that helps homeless and struggling people reintegrate into society. This time, we had the chance to work with a real client, who came to present their needs and expectations. We carried out research, ran benchmarks and set a clear direction to best meet their brief. The whole project gave us an experience much closer to a real professional context, taking into account the client's constraints and direct feedback.

For the design, I went for a minimalist yet modern approach that reflects the organisation's human values. The colour palette was built around soft, reassuring tones, with blue dominating to inspire trust and green to symbolise hope and rebuilding. I built a WordPress theme with a clear, accessible layout, designed to highlight the organisation's missions and make essential information easy to find. User experience was at the heart of the project, with simple, intuitive navigation suited to beneficiaries and potential partners alike.
